Update on October 24, 2005:
Global Day of Action

Tell UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to Bring Burma to the UN Security Council!

October 24, 2005 was both the first day of Nobel Peace laureate Aung San Suu Kyi's tenth year under arrest in Burma, and the sixtieth anniversary of the United Nations. Hundreds of individuals and organizations around the world demanded UN Security Council Action on Burma by sending FAXes, coordinating conferences, and demonstrating in front of UN and government offices. Events were held in 8 different countries (USA, UK, Netherlands, Korea, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and Sweden)!

Pictures from events in London, Seoul, Lulea, and New York are below!
